TWENTY-FIFTY COUNTDOWN

The twenty days- fifty days countdown begins. This is probably gonna be one of the hardest shenanigans that I'll be subjecting myself into.

Its gonna be an exciting ride, probably frustrating but hopefully not heart breaking. I should be laying this down on the date provided, and I should do it do it as far as doing it is concerned.



This plan should push through regardless of the many things, like schedules, contracts or people, that can change in the course of 50 days. Opportunities may not come  twice, goals should be pursued and dreams should never be put on hold for the sakes of well some people's prodding.

Preparations for the date have already commenced. Trips to home are more frequent and intentional to seek after wisdom and advice, to seek solitude and to return to the plans and goals that were set in the beginning.

Choosing not to be a push over, choosing to stand up for my own dreams and choosing to find my own voice. Albeit the fact that some good things are to be forgone for other good things to commence, regrets are to be shunned away because me must also learn to stand by my decisions.

Contemplating and preparing real hard for the coming days...

I have been meticulously planning/ dreaming for this trip for the last 3-6 months and it is fantastic to finally be here and be outside of the Philippines. We booked an evening flight from Manila to Siem Reap, got out of our work modes (me having the easier part in getting out of work while tiah having a harder time to do so), went to the airport and boarded our flight. Siem Reap to Bangkok by Bus and by Train Day 3

We wanted to take our adventure to a higher level so we opted to go with the road less traveled. Booked a bus ticket to Poipet, crossed the border, rode a tuktuk to the train station at Aryanapathet and rode the third class train to Hua Lamphong station. Do not ride tuktuks in Thailand, most of them are scams so it is better to ride a metered taxi instead because they are generally better and more legit. Bus to Poipet (Cambodia side Cambo-Thai border) = 5 USD Tuktuk from Border to Aranyapathet station = 80 THB Do not ride tuktuks near the border, they usually charge you with a higher price. We rode the tuktuk near the 7-11 shop which is in front of the bank Train from Aranyapathet station to Hua Lamphong station = 48 THB Ride a metered taxi to your hotel. Busy Bangkok Day 4

A dishonest tuk-tuk driver, a busy street just like manila, and two confused disoriented Indays started the Thailand part of our misadventure. We were apprehensive with Bangkok... But it was fun anyway. :)  We visited the grand palace (had some ultimate photo bum photos with Korean tourists- see photo above),  the reclining Budha (silly photos with funny looking statues) and Khao San road (below). I was mesmerized by the grandeur of Thailand's old religious architecture and I was enticed by Khao San's vibrant night life and energy! Haha! :) Saya!
